Our 18th season has officially begun! Yesterday our first group arrived at the Rio Negro Lodge and first thing this morning they all headed out for our first fishing day of the season.

Our 18 anglers boated (please note that we do not count hook-ups or any fish that does not make it into the boat/net) a total of 207 peacocks (we do not count other fish) for the day with 2 10lb., 1 11lb., 2 12lb., 1 14lb., 1 16lb., 2 17lb., and 1 18 pounder! Not bad for the first day. The 18 pounder was landed by Ron Rhodes.

Our internet provider for the Lodge said that the internet there should be up and running on Monday. Once they are online the daily fishing report will be posted from there with pictures of the big fish of the day.
