This luxurious sanctuary lies 50 miles from the town of Barcelos on the Amazon’s largest tributary, the Rio Negro, in the heart of Brazil’s premier peacock bass fishery. Rio Negro Lodge treats its guests to fine dining and quiet relaxation in 5,000 square feet of air-conditioned comfort with a 7,000-gallon aquarium as its centerpiece. Around the pool and bar, guests gather to share stories they’ll retell for years to come.
